Several partners, one objective

The Charles de Gaulle Memorial has harnessed the energies of the Haute-Marne General Council (Conseil Général de la Haute-Marne) as project leader or “Memorial Builder”. The Fondation Charles de Gaullehas acted as moral supervisor of the project as a whole.

The Memorial has been made possible thanks to the financial support of 6 partners: the Conseil Général de la Haute-Marne and the Fondation Charles de Gaulle contributed the bulk of the finance, with the assistance of Europe, the State (National Fund for Country Planning and Development- FNADT), the Region and the Public Interest Group (GIP) of  Haute-Marne.

The Fondation Charles de Gaulle also wishes to thank its sponsors for their support.

A Committee of Honour was created for this purpose. Its President up to the time of his death was Pierre Messmer, and the Committee is now co-chaired by the former Prime Ministers Pierre Mauroy and Michel Rocard, by Simone Veil, Yves Guéna and the President of the Fondation Charles de Gaulle Pierre Mazeaud. Its primary objective is to bring together numerous sponsors, whether private individuals, foundations or companies.
A national public subscription will soon be launched.

The Fondation Charles de Gaulle and the Committee of Honour wish to thank all those sponsors who have contributed their support to the project up to now:
